Reader Rabbit Computer Software: Reader Rabbit Kindergarten 2005
|
Give the Gift of Reading! Of course, kids can (and do) learn to read without using the computer, but by combining the two activities, the child learns to get around a computer with ease AND learns the basics for reading (or whatever the focus of the program). We give computer learning software to the kids every year. My youngest niece started to read her own books in kindergarten. I think it is her own innate fascination with letters and words, but I'd also like to think that these programs helped that awareness. JumpStart Workbooks: Jumbo JumpStart Workbook: Pre-K JumpStart Kindergarten Reading Readiness Workbook |
The JumpStart Workbook series combines the power of the bestselling software series with Scholastic, the most trusted name in children's publishing. JumpStart workbooks are fun and innovative books that cover age-appropriate, grade-specific skills and activities. They include full-color artwork, three color-coded levels within each book, stickers and certificates of completion to reward a child's progress, and JumpStart Tutors to help with advanced concepts. And they free up the computer so you can have a turn. |

JumpStart Computer Software |
JumpStart 5th Grade & 6th Grade Search Jumpstart Learning Software I like these software packages because they are actually a little difficult. I just wished that they were better named since the boys liked playing them once they got into it, but were a little insulted that I didn't get them a "real" computer game.
