Have
been making small changes to the Web site in the past couple
of weeks to make all the news information more current. But
have also been dealing with a lot of down time with the new
server I chose to move MostlyFiction.com to. So as of 9-21-03
the site will be going through another propogation cycle because
we are moving yet again. My apologies if site, raffles and
forum are a bit flaky over the next two days. I will send
an e-mail when all has settled down. |

Certainly seems faster to me. Now preparing new raffles to

Created
a new bookshelf called "Facing
History" to feature fiction based on real people
and/or events. Also changed author pages so that there is
a longer right hand column, which should be more friendly
to browser other than IE and will enable me to more quickly
do site updates (since I won't have to worry about wrecking
page formats when adding new authors to the author list).
I know I do more things, but at the moment I can't remember.
It's been a nerve wracking six days to make these changes.
Fingers crossed I've done them right. |

| 2-2-03 |
Changed
the site so that there are no more e-mail addresses and instead
there is one page with contact information. This should reduce
the amount of junk mail each of the reviewers receives from
when the site gets spidered. Naturally this took all day since
every single page had the "E-mail" us icon on the
menu bar. Also double checked formatting and got rid of the
use of text on the bottom scroll bar. O.K. late at night I
discovered one hold over, but that will be corrected at another
time. Also renamed a couple bookshelves. |

Happy
New Year! The updates today are similar to taking down the
Christmas Tree and holiday decorations. As pretty as they
all once seemed, they do get a bit tired by now. So look for
my new animated logos, which point to raffles (which aren't
ready) and 2002 TOP PICKS (although I want to include twice
as many as listed on this page). I also went through and updated
the latest releases sections with books just published in
January. Oh, yeah, did the annual update copyright notices
too. |
