I posted some great YELLOW BLOOMS in April… and now see that I should have saved that posting for May. Compared to those flowers, these are bit more orange than yellow. I am figuring out the names of the flowers and will go back to previous flower blog pages and add names IF I can figure them out. The first flower on this page was easy.
Sunflowers. Desert Landscape Flower. Note the Mexican Brick Wall in the background.
ISO 80, f/8, 1/200 7.7 mm 9am. One flower retouched to repair a bug eaten hole. Certainly wished I had noticed it while photographing because it was in every one of the photos!

Orange Jubilee – Desert Landscape Bush (Just down the road from the Sunflowers, found in that “crowded” development.)
ISO 80, f/8, 1/160 7.7 mm 8am. Cropped to bring more attention to the bee. Tweaked levels a bit. Blurred background a bit more than it was already.

Orange Jubilee – Desert Landscape. I had to show another of these flowers as they are so pretty!
ISO 80, f/8, 1/200 7.7 mm 8:10 am. Not tweaked.

California Poppy – a desert wildflower. This is the flower that I was taking a photo of when I went back to see what those insects were…
ISO 80; f/8; 1/250; 7.7mm ; 8:40 am. Slight crop.

Orange Globe Mallow — a desert wild flower.
ISO 80, f/8, 1/200 7.7 mm 9am. Not tweaked.

Wow – what a beautiful assemblage of firey hot flowers. I really like that Sunflower shot – super.
These are all lovely! I like seeing the collection of same-color flowers all at once. It makes for a soothing presentation.
Your yellows and oranges are just magnificent…what a bright and cheery post this morning!
